A graduate from France's prestigious Ecole Nationale de Maîtres d'Armes, Coach Eric has coached countless Austin area fencers to success at all levels since moving to here in 1991

Foil Coach
Ben joined AFC in 2016 and brings extensive competitive experience as a former Team USA member and NCAA Champion

Blake Ruffner
Foil Coach
Blake has experience as a Div1 Athlete at UIW where he qualified for NCAA championships in his Junior year. He joined AFC’s staff in 2022 and is passionate about supporting athletes at all levels of their fencing journey.

Youth and Beginner Asst Coach
A national medalist and A rated foil fencer, Paul comes to AFC after training in Dallas for years at the Fencing Institute of Texas. He is also a nationally rated and sought after referee.
